1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or purchasing products from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other legal notices posted. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or purchase our products.

2. Products

We sell clay cookware and kitchen utensils made of natural materials, including but not limited to pots, pans, bakeware, serving ware, and specialty cooking items. Each item is handcrafted and may exhibit slight variations in shape, size, or colour due to the nature of natural materials.

 

Important Note on Clay Cookware:
Over time, you may notice hairline cracks appearing on the underside of your pot—this is a superficial and expected part of the pottery's natural development. If your pot is leaking, please refer to the FAQ section on our website for steps on how to repair it. If the issue persists, contact us for further support.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in AUD for Australian customers where applicable. International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes in their country.

 

We accept payment via major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other options available on our checkout page. Prices are subject to change without notice.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We offer worldwide shipping. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout.

Australia: 3–10 business days.

International: Up to 40 business days, depending on the destination and customs processing.

Please allow up to one week for order processing before dispatch. We are not responsible for delays due to customs, postal services, or other external factors.

5. Returns and Refunds

All sales are final. We do not accept returns.
If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at inbox@quietearth.co so we can assist you.
Photographs of the damaged product are required for assessment and to initiate any resolution.

 

For Australian Customers:

 

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, product names, logos, images, and other materials, are the intellectual property of Quiet Earth Cookware Pty Ltd and are protected under copyright and trademark laws. Reproduction or use without permission is prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Quiet Earth Cookware Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.

 

Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or international consumer protection laws, our liability is limited to replacement of the product or refund of the purchase price.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. All personal information collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where necessary to fulfil your order or comply with legal obligations.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. For international customers, your local consumer laws may apply in addition to these terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Liability for Injuries and Illness

Quiet Earth Cookware Pty Ltd does not accept any responsibility or liability for injuries, illnesses, or damages caused by the use, misuse, or improper handling of our products. Customers are responsible for using our clay cookware and utensils safely and according to instructions provided.
